A new generation of Nintendo Switch models is coming to the US, and now we have some details about the models.
The new Nintendo Switch model, dubbed the Nintendo Switch 2.0, will be available for pre-order starting in the US on October 11.
While the first Switch model was a “basic” version that had just one Joy-Con controller and was priced at $499, this new model is expected to cost a bit more.
It will be made out of the same materials as the first model, but will come in a color of your choice.
The Switch 2 is expected not to be a big seller.
That’s partly because the console will likely be the last one to sell out and will likely only be sold through retailers.
Also, Nintendo says the Switch 2 model will only be available through the Switch’s official website.
Nintendo also says the console should be a hit in the market, and will make up for the lack of pre-orders by selling a ton of preorders for the console.
You can pre-ordered the console from October 10 to October 12, and Nintendo says it will sell out of these units within two days.
We’ll keep you posted on the Switch release dates and pricing as they are announced.
